Desay Factory Warranty

Desay Corporation ("Desay") warrants that its Products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years ("Warranty Period") from the original date of purchase and that any spare parts will be free from defects in materials and workmanship until the end of the Warranty Period or three (3) months from the date of which they have been incorporated into the Product, whichever is the later.

The Warranty Period may be extended to five (5) years for a fee at the time of ordering.

NovaStar Factory Warranty

NovaStar provides a 3-year warranty and technical support on all eligible products purchased from an Authorized NovaStar Distributor.

Warranty Scope and Restrictions

The warranty covers products designed and certified for use in Canada, the United States, and certain other markets, when purchased through NovaStar's Authorized Distributors.

The warranty is non-transferable and does not cover products purchased through foreign or domestic online discount warehouses or other unauthorized resellers.

When do you need it?

With few exceptions, every Desay Series display is custom-built for your specific project. This takes time, but the schedule is precise.

We design the display to match your exact installation parameters, generating schematics and wiring diagrams for your approval.

Manufacturing, performance testing, and packaging require three to four weeks. Freight adds one week by air or one month by sea. Also, China has a generous number of holidays throughout the year that can delay production scheddules.

With more than 20 years experience with this process, our advice is always the same: do not wait until the last minute before ordering.

So far, no one has taken our advice.

When will your new LED display be ready to meet your audience?

In a few cases, the matching number of panels meeting your exact specifications will be available for shipping to your location in the next week. But more likely than not, our first call will begin a process of determining the ideal Desay Series for your installation.

Design

We will exchange a number of emails and calls to review and fine tune your selection and provide quotes for the best value and performance to meet your expectations. This can take a few days or a few months, but we will accomodate what you need, when you need it.

As soon as you are generally settled on the width and height of your Desay LED display, our Team will create a detailed schematic of the panels in your configuration to share with your Architects, Engineers or Contractors for their review and approval.

Order and Payment

Telematics can provide your invoice for payment in USD and CAD funds. For larger builds, we can accept a deposit on order with the balance due on shipping.

Build

Your custom display will be built to your specifications within 35 to 40 days, and in some cases sooner than that. But keep in mind China enjoys a lot of national holidays (way more than Canada or the USA), and the factory will stop production throughout the year to enjoy time with their families. We will review the production schedule with you at the time you place your order.

Ship and Clear

Ocean freight to the West Cooast is typically 3 weeks from China. Allow an extra week for delivery and loading at the Port and the same at Long Beach or Vancouver. From there your shipment will be transported by rail and/or truck to your location.

Air freight is recommended for smaller orders and can ofter take less than a week to deliver to your door. Larger orders also ship by air, however the premium over Ocean is significant, so plan accordingly.

Install

Installation is generally a straightforward assembly of panels to a frame and cabling for power and data. We will provide assistance by phone or Teams if you encounter any issues.

Desay Warranty and Hardware Replacement

Initial diagnostics are routinely conducted via TeamViewer with further communications through Microsoft Teams to isolate and resolve operational faults, typically through software intervention.

Desay provides a standard 2-year factory warranty, extendable to 5 years at the time of purchase. The client is directed to ship any faulty components directly to the manufacturing facility in China where Desay executes the repair or provides a replacement and covers the return freight back to the sender.

In any LED display, the most frequently serviced component is the LED module.

Where possible, Desay factory technicians execute diode-level repairs rather than outright module replacement. This ensures the repaired module retains the exact color calibration and age degradation profile of its original production batch.

Clients must consult with Telematics prior to shipping to secure the correct Customs declarations and packaging protocols required to avoid transit damage and border delays and fees.

NovaStar Warranty and Technical Support

NovaStar provides a 3-year factory warranty on hardware procured through Telematics and all authorized NovaStar distributors.

Their dedicated remote engineering support members will successfully identify and correct the vast majority of processing or connectivity and compatibility issues.

This includes firmware patching and custom code solutions, routinely eliminating the need for physical hardware returns.
